Laura Arbour

Dr. Laura Arbour is a Professor in the Department of Medical Genetics situated at the UBC Island Medical Program in Victoria, BC.

Mouna Ben Amor

Dr. Mouna Ben Amor’s research program and expertise is in clinical genetics, with a specific interest in screening for carriers of common genetic diseases in New Brunswick.

Yvonne Bombard

Dr. Yvonne Bombard is a genomics health services researcher and Scientist at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto.

Michael is a Computer Scientist specializing in Computational methods for the analysis of Medical data (Computational Medicine), working as a Professor at the University of Toronto and the Chief Data Scientist for the University Health Network (UHN).

Nadine Caron

Dr. Caron is an advocate for marginalized peoples’ rights in health care and research. Her scholarly and professional activities centre on optimizing Indigenous and northern Canadians’ health, and addressing inequities in access to surgical services, cancer care, prescription medications and research.

Geoff Hicks

Dr. Geoff Hicks has been a member of CancerCare Manitoba Research Institute for most of his scientific career – beginning in 1985 with his PhD training in Dr Michael Mowat’s lab.

Steven Jones

Dr. Jones’ research program is firmly entrenched in genome science to better understand the complete mutational landscape of cancers. His primary aim is to help uncover the diversity of genetic and genomic events that accrue to give rise to cancers, and which also encourage their evolution and maintain their progression.

Holly Longstaff

Holly is responsible for guiding the development, recommendation and implementation of innovative approaches to privacy policy and practice to build accountable information stewardship and privacy conscious practices that enable the execution of PHSA’s expanded mandate and the conduct of health research.

Hermann Nabi

Hermann Nabi, PhD, HDR, is a senior researcher in the Oncology axis at CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center and Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval.

Lincoln Stein

Dr. Lincoln Stein focuses on supporting biomedical research both in Ontario and around the world by making large and complex biological datasets findable, accessible and usable.
